On 6 April, RMH senior management and other staffs did community work popularly known in Rwanda as Umuganda.
During those activities RMH staffs planted trees in every corner of the hospital to cope with environmental deterioration that deteriorates a health living among communities.
Different kinds of trees were planted in all green spaces of the hospital since the hospital has been upgrading its infrastructures the green spaces were left not taken very good care of but now the hospital will have a good environment where patients, attendants and staffs can seat and relax while they are in hospital premises.
In his remarks RMH Commandant Col Dr J C Kagimbana urged everyone to not just plant trees but to continue taking good care of them by watering them and following closely their growth.
