(1) RMH Extra Ordinary Board meeting at RMH, 31st May 2019 from 09:00AM to 15:00PM.
(2) The “Vision 2020” guiding principles have sought to make of our Country a land that enjoys the wealth and health of a middle-income Nation. The increasing investment in our health system strengthening aims at allowing all Rwandans geographical and financial access to care. Indeed, the care seeker in Rwanda would walk 51.5 min maximum to a Health Facility and the system has been made affordable through the Community Based Health Insurance (CBHI). However, despite all the progress, the quality of our healthcare remains wanting as we contemplate to make Rwanda a “Health Hub” centered on diagnostics, cardiology, oncology and nephrology.” Dr. Jean Baptiste MAZARATI (RMH Board Chairperson) remarks on making Rwanda a “Health Hub” in the RMH Extra Ordinary Board meeting.
(3) Therefore, in order to holistically think through this process, the RMH Board main objective shall be to ensure a world-class healthcare service with an exquisite expertise, a lean and smart hospital management and a financial viable and self-sustained hospital with high-end technologies.
