RDF has appointed a new Commandant for Rwanda Military Hospital Col. Dr. Emmanuel Ndahiro who eplaces 

Col.Dr.Ben Karenzi who retired from duty.

The new Commandant said is ready to continue the development of the hospital support its vision 

and enhance its mission.

RMH as a referral teaching hospital has a mission of providing quality tertiary healthcare to 

the military and

 their families as well as to the general population.

With a vision of being the best in what it does, RMH strives to become the best hospital in the country easing access to healthcare and offering a complete package of healthcare services to its clients.

The new commandant comes to strengthen the 4 major pillars that guide RMH vision. 

Those pillars are Human resource capacity building, ultra modern management systems, 

Infrastructural rehabilitation and /or construction and Equipment supplies and consumables 

acquisition.
