With the vision of providing the best quality healthcare services and easing access to health care services, Rwanda Military Hospital is accelerating plans to create the first modern cardiac center in Rwanda.

This center that is planned to be complete in 2 years will be the first one in Rwanda and will provide all the services that cardiac patient's need that are not available in the country.

To accelerate plans to achieve this goal RMH has signed a memorandum of understand with a chain of hospitals in India Fortis Malar Hospital and Molecule 7 Hospitals to collaborate in this noble cause where specialized doctors will be recruited for the center and capacity building of local doctors will be enhanced.

Dr. JMV Ganza, RMH cardiologist said that this center will be a solution not only for Rwandans but for the whole region to access cardiology services and it will reduce transfer abroad as many of cardiac patients are often transferred in India for specialized treatment but with this center all the services including surgery and pacemakers placement will be available in Rwanda.

This center comes to support the government of Rwanda vision of positioning Rwanda as a service hub.
