Through a Memorandum Of Understanding between Rwanda Military Hospital and Rwanda Civil Aviation Authority,

 Rwanda Military Hospital has been running a clinic at Kigali International Airport to ease access to health for passengers.

This is also in regards to Kigali International Airport fulfilling all the requirements to become an 

internationally accredited airport as having a clinic inside the airport is one of the requirements to 

achieve airport standards.

The RMH airport clinic has been running from February 2014. With an ambulance parked at the airport 24/7, 

the airport clinic provides only first aid care and those patients who need more care are transferred to RMH which is

 only 5 Minutes from the airport.

The passengers do not need to pay any money as it is all included in air ticket fees. RMH airport clinic was opened 

at critical time and it played a very important role at times of Ebola epidemics where all passengers had to be checked up 

for any sign of Ebola disease and this check up is still going on until now.
