Rwanda Military Hospital has established partnership with a Germany military hospital called BUNDESWEHR located in Hamburg. This cooperation started with a 4 day visit of BUNDESWEHR officials to RMH where they visited RMH premises and discussed with RMH authorities and doctors. In their visit they also paid a courtesy visit to the RDF Chief of Defense Staff. In this cooperation Rwanda Military Hospital and Bundeswehr hospital agreed to establish exchange programs where staffs from BUNDESWEHR would come and learn from RMH and vice-versa. This will help to fill mutual gaps in terms of quality healthcare provision. The partnership will also be extended in research and publication, quality improvement and infection control services and Tele medicine platforms will be used for information sharing and teaching purposes.
