On 19 June 2019, RMH team conducted a Mass Casualty drill to assess the readiness of staffs in handling patients in case of Mass Casualty event.
The drill was conducted in the recently acquired level II hospital equipments, the total number of 13 patients severely injured were received and handled accordingly.
This simulation exercise was organized after 10 days of training in order to impact enough knowledge among staffs to make them ready to handle Mass Casualties while fielding level II hospitals in different countries during UN Peacekeeping Missions.
The exercise was conducted with the support of US army that provided trainers who assessed the readiness of staffs and were satisfied with the level of professionalism that was put into this exercise.
It is planned that similar exercises will be conducted regularly for the readiness of enough staffs that can support wherever it is needed.
